Screenplay research
Firstly our group was unaware of how to construct a full screenplay, we sat down together around the computers and began to do research. We found out that scripts and screenplays were two different things, a screenplay being for a film and a script being for a play. We found many useful pictures including the two above of which one of them is the hit film 'Die hard'. These pictures made it able for us to be able to follow the ways in which a screenplay is constructed. We've started to construct our screenplay (we have had previous 'scripts' which weren't detailed) with a lot of detail. We're going to post our results soon.
What have you learnt from studying these examples? What conventions are you going to use for your own script?
ReplyDeleteWe were able to learn the style in which these were set up and how they're structured. We're going to follow a similar layout/pattern when constructing ours.
